About Me
I’m Justene - bodyworker, mentor and maker.
Get in touchFor nearly 30 years I’ve been walking alongside people as they navigate change.
Long before I had language for it, I was listening – to bodies, to what wasn’t being said, to the subtle shifts beneath the surface.
I grew up with hands-on healing. My mother practised Touch for Health and Shiatsu. The body was never separate from the spirit. Care was practical. Grounded. Everyday.
Over time that foundation became formal training – massage, structural and postural work, orthobionomy, energy healing, trigger point therapy, lymphatic drainage, naturopathy, and teaching.
But the thread running through all of it is simple: I help people return to themselves.
Not by fixing.
Not by forcing.
But by creating enough steadiness for truth to surface.
What Shapes My Work
For much of my life, I tried to keep the peace, prove my worth, and keep up with the endless pressure of “doing it all.” I know what it feels like to silence yourself, over-deliver, and run on urgency.
But through these struggles, I discovered my greatest gifts:
- Emotional steadiness → I create safe spaces where people can feel without fear of judgment, and where truths can be spoken honestly.
- Embodied worth → I no longer push to prove myself, and I help others discover they are already enough.
- Calm presence → I don’t rush. I model a slower, steadier way of moving forward that feels sustainable.
This is the essence of my work:
I help people release the cycles of silencing, proving, and always rushing—so they can root into truth, worth, and calm power.
For much of my life, I tried to keep the peace. Prove my worth. Keep up with the pressure of doing it all.
I know what it feels like to silence yourself in order to belong. To over-deliver. To live on urgency.
Those seasons didn’t disqualify me. They refined me.
They taught me emotional steadiness. How to sit with discomfort without rushing it away. How to trust what the body knows before the mind catches up.
Now, when someone sits across from me – or lies on the table – I’m not trying to be impressive. I’m listening. And in that listening, things begin to reorganise.

My Work Today
Whether through bodywork, mentorship, Human Design, or the Contemplation Cards, the essence is the same:
Interrupting old cycles.
Softening self-abandonment.
Rebuilding an internal sanctuary that doesn’t collapse under pressure.
Bodywork works through touch. Mentorship through conversation and reflection. Human Design through pattern recognition and energetic understanding. The cards through a single, well-timed word.
Different doorways. Same field.
Beyond the Work
Rooted in the wisdom of Eastern medicine and healing traditions, Reiki is a natural, vibrational, hands-on practice that channels universal life force energy—known as Ki, Chi, or Qi—to support the body’s innate ability to heal. In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Japanese traditional medicine, the human body is viewed as an interconnected network of energy channels, or meridians, through which life energy flows. Maintaining the free, balanced flow of this energy is seen as essential for physical, emotional, and mental well-being.
Reiki, developed in Japan, is one of these powerful healing practices. The word “Reiki” combines two Japanese terms: Rei, meaning “Spirit” or “Universe,” and Ki, meaning “life force energy.” Through gentle application, Reiki practitioners channel this universal energy to restore balance and promote the natural flow within these meridians, encouraging the body’s own capacity for self-healing.
This gentle yet profound energy work can be integrated into a massage session or provided as a stand-alone treatment, tailored to your specific needs. Reiki is particularly effective for relieving pain, stress, and both physical and emotional tension.
It offers support for those managing acute health concerns, while also enhancing overall resilience and well-being. By creating a deeply calming environment, Reiki enables the body and mind to enter a balanced, harmonious state, fostering healing, self-regulation, and renewed vitality.

I am also a maker. I sew. Mend. Create from scraps. Turn what might have been discarded into something useful and beautiful.
It’s not separate from the rest of my work. It is the same instinct – to honour what already exists and reshape it with care.
Everything I offer, whether a session, a reading, or a deck of handwritten cards, is made in that spirit.
Slowly. Intentionally. By hand.

A Final Word
If you’re here, something in you is already ready.
Ready to exhale. Ready to stop proving. Ready to move in a way that feels truer.
When that moment comes, I’m here.
